“Language Naturally” is the result of ELS thirty-year long experience in the field of language teaching, combined with the most important research of the sector. In the name of these principle Language Naturally staff has created the “TOTALITY METHOD”, i.e. an approach where the multi-tasking mode of modern life combines with the natural way of learning. What is the natural way to learn a language? We don’t need to quote form difficult theories to find an answer. Just try to think of the time when –as a kid- you learnt the language you currently speak. People around you didn’t use a blackboard nor books, and you didn’t have to do difficult exercises. More simply, you were just surrounded by people who talked to you, using simple words at first, then longer and longer sentences. With no need of more instruments, your brain was able to process the sounds heard, to pronounce them and to acquire their meaning with no effort. “Language Naturally” originates from this very simple principle, with a view to reproduce the basic conditions and mechanisms of natural learning. The natural order that our mind follows to successfully learn a language requires listening in the first place, then the imitation of the sound listened, then a comparison of the two –so as to improve the pronounciation and make it more and more similar to the sound listened- and finally writing, because when we write our mind can better fix what we have learned. But a totality of all the different stimuli is very important too. Paradoxically, a limit of all traditional methods is that they wants to simplify too much, separating practice from theory. Most of all, they separate the abstract language from real situations. On the contrary, a language is a total instrument, immersed into real life and only inside a real situation each of us is naturally stimulated to express oneself. For all these reasons, “Language Naturally” will accompany you through a total and natural immersion into Italian, following 5 steps: LAB (language laboratory), SIT (the language set in real situations), ACT ( active training), CLASS (lessons with your personal tutors), TEXT (further practice for consolidation and control). At the end of the whole path, you will obtain LANGUAGE NATURALLY CERTIFICATE.
